Andreas Schleicher, Director of the Directorate for Education and Skills of the OECD visited the NIES on 24 April, 2015 and met with Professor Dr. Tian Huisheng, President of the NIES, and Dr. Liu Jianfeng, Vice-President of the NIES. Professor Dr. Huisheng warmly welcomed Andreas Schleicher to NIES and expressed hope for greater collaboration in areas of common interest. Andreas Schleicher then presented a seminar titled “Education Post-2015: How Knowledge and Skills Transform Lives and Societies”, which was attended by researchers of the NIES.
