Dr. Liu Jianfeng is the former Vice-President of the National Institute for Educational Sciences (NIES). His recently published book - "Report on Participation of Chinese Students in Overseas International Education 2014" focuses on the employment policies of students studying abroad in the popular destination countries (the US, UK, Germany, France, Canada, Australia, Russia, Japan, South Korea, and New Zealand), reviews the policy strategies for recruiting and attracting senior international talents and also analyzes the reasons behind the employment policies of study abroad countries towards international students in the context of globalization. He also explores the differences of career choices of students in difference countries and examines cultural factors that impact these choices, describes the exchange of international students between China and typical countries, summarizes the policy characteristics in those countries, extrapolates a prognosis on international student exchange, and puts forward some relevant policy recommendations.
