Prof. Dr. Tian Huisheng, an eminent educationalist in China whose research has made significant impact on teachers and education policy-makers at different levels. He currently serves as the president of the National Institute for Curriculum andTextbook Research and former president of National Institute for Educational Sciences (NIES), the Director-General of the Basic Education Curriculum and Textbook Development Center, and the Secretary-General of the National Advisory Committee on Basic Education Curriculum and Textbook under the Ministry of Education.
