The 7th Annual Conference of National Private Education Cooperative Innovation Alliance and the Seminar on the Development, Challenge and Policy Recommendations of Private Education were hosted by NIES and organized by Zhejiang Yuying Education Group on 6th December 2020 in Wenzhou. Yin Changchun, the Party Secretary of NIES, attended the meeting and delivered an address. Wu Ni, President of National Private Education Cooperative Innovation Alliance and Director of Educational Development and Reform Research Center hosted the opening ceremony.
Participants discussed the current situation and problems of private schools, categorization and registration of private schools, implementing the same recruitment process between public and private compulsory education schools, and investment in private education during pandemic. It proposed suggestions on sustainable development tactics and strategies in terms of advancing categorization of private schools, and governance of inclusive private kindergartens and government-supported private schools. Participants paid a visit to Yuying Boarding School in Leqing.
More than 120 experts, principals, government officials and investors in private education attended the meeting.
